Lapppas is pretty horrible ,most of the time.He gives Alexander a run for his money.He love New York teams.

It appeared to me that Lappas was unable to objectively call that game today. I told my husband maybe he had money on SJU winning. He seemed completely unable to give Arkansas credit for anything.

The most biased announcers I've noticed was yesterday's Colorado St and Memphis game, at least in the first half. The woman announcer (don't remember her name, it was a long one) and the color guys (Jalen Rose and Robbie Hummel) just couldn't shut up discussing how impressive Memphis was. Colorado St got no cred at all in the first half, and of course they went on a tear the 2nd half and won going away. I'm curious how they will treat tomorrow's game with Maryland.

They're two of a kind, not nearly as smart and interesting as they consider themselves.

One point in Kenny's favor -- he can be muted without missing game action, while Cory babbles right through the game.

I liked it the first 985 times I saw it. Her look at the end makes the spot, but now it needs to be retired. (As a one-time commercial actor, I can appreciate the residuals both mom and son are getting.)

Is it me, or once Jim Nantz retired the overall quality of Tournament announcers has dropped off significantly. I know there's no direct correlation, but not hearing him call the tournament's biggest games is certainly noticeable. And to top it off, this year's announcing crews have been pretty awful all around.
