I can totally see K doing this type of thing:
I find it pretty easy not to like this guy.

I defend him more than most but yeah, that's not good.I can totally see K doing this type of thing:

Not really. He has proven himself a first class public jerk. The rest is guessing.I'm just amazed that someone who is that much of an overt public jerk appears to be a completely different guy when it comes to his team. His guys love him, and he continues to be a very effective coach. Such a strange dichotomy.
He's good friends with McDermott too.I'm just amazed that someone who is that much of an overt public jerk appears to be a completely different guy when it comes to his team. His guys love him, and he continues to be a very effective coach. Such a strange dichotomy.
He’s just another successful man-baby like so many others in this country. Classless, entitled, and insufferable…Not really. He has proven himself a first class public jerk. The rest is guessing.
Like anyone from Chapel Hill...He’s just another successful man-baby like so many others in this country. Classless, entitled, and insufferable…
Who's "worked up"? Bemused is more accurate. The fans were rightfully letting him have it all game, changing at him at every stoppage. *This* is fair play, imo.... There are far bigger things to get worked up over., like threatening to punch a fan last year...
Yeah, it's a concern for sure. Saw some of that size and physicality vs Clemson and a few (or more than a few?) SEC schools are even stronger.I watched a good portion of both SEC games last night. Didn't care who won. Boy are those games physical. It is obvious why you need to recruit people who look like James. That is the way the game is now played at the highest levels. Don't like it but that's how it's going to be. Duke better practice with 2x4s to be ready for the tournament.
The only fans I can ever recall K yelling at were the ones in Cameron Indoor. He's good friends with McDermott too.

Technically, he does. One in 2010 as a player and one in 2015 as an assistant coach. But I'm picking nits. The only fans I can ever recall K yelling at were the ones in Cameron Indoor.
I respect your fandom-goggles, but if CJS did this, I'd be very disappointed.
(Also, CJS doesn't have two rings)
This winter is the first time in 7 years I haven't coached club volleyball. In November I thought, with all my extra free time, I'd make an effort to watch more non-Duke college basketball games. I lasted about a week before I couldn't do it anymore. College basketball is borderline unwatchable with the amount of pushing, shoving, grabbing, holding, etc that is allowed. It's even worse when you watch what's happening off the ball. Apparently people get upset when there's "too many whistles" but I don't see how these wrestling matches are entertaining. I miss basketball. *sigh*I watched a good portion of both SEC games last night. Didn't care who won. Boy are those games physical. It is obvious why you need to recruit people who look like James. I would too.The only fans I can ever recall K yelling at were the ones in Cameron Indoor.

He has kind of a Gary Williams vibe to me. Only even more annoying, a little more successful and a lot less sweaty. He’s just another successful man-baby like so many others in this country. Classless, entitled, and insufferable…
