Duke’s offense isn’t working because out guards can’t penetrate and get to the rim. We resort to standing around outside until someone decides to jack a three. I think we need to pass the ball much more than we do to generate some better looks.

We haven’t had an elite point guard since Tyus and it shows every year. The Heels have 2-3 guys that can handle the point better than anyone Duke can put on the floor. The point is definitely the most important position on the team and Duke not hit on getting that elite player recently.

Unless something is done with NIL the schools with large bases and from large metropolitan areas will soon devour the smaller schools because they will have deeper pockets. Possibly a few schools like Duke with so much national appeal might survive but I fear money will quickly win out.
