UCF is a P4 program and is a much bigger name than Troy. But sure, they aren’t USC or Texas or anything, and their head coach did just quit to be a coordinator at FSU.

So I was reading Jim Sumner’s preview and I stopped cold at his mention of a “funky slow mesh offense.“ Good grief, does Wake run that dumb thing where the QB and running back move slowly forward together with the ball before actually doing anything? I really hope that’s not what that quote means.

It's been a while since I played competitive soccer, and I'm sure they'll have great, warm gear on the sidelines, but once you're moving on the field you really don't need it on your legs. Ears/hands, maybe.
