What an odd game, both in terms of Duke’s play as well as the imbalanced officiating. Our players seem to react slowly, with childlike reaction time. It was just very strange to watch.

☝️this right here. Once Mark Williams figured this out toward the end of his freshman year, he became an invaluable defender. In the case of MW, it was a matter of him being more selective about when he left his feet, not falling for shot fakes, etc.
