Uhm, not knowing how to set up a Zoom call is a feature, not a bug. (and possibly not true.)

If a cohort sends me the link and password, it works great. If they send me an "invite," it doesn't.

The Quarantine Adventures of T-Bone and The Drewsk: Today a family walk was organized but then cut short do to an unexpected rain shower. The shower lasted barely 5 minutes and left a rainbow. Youngest brother has possibly gained a family nickname, Arrow. Will it stick? Stay tuned!

I'm headed to a cabin in the middle of nowhere to continue quarantine with my wife and dogs tomorrow. See you in a few days.

I host all work Zoom meetings @ location: Bundaberg's* Boom Boom Fun Time Zoom Room. If folks want the meeting to happen, they have to join for a good time, not a long time.

*Insert real name, which does not rhyme with boom, zoom, or room, unfortunately.

for us, that nice line of showers replaced the hot sticky air with cool, lovely dry air, hope you got the same..the Womble pup is rejuvenated!

As if there wasn’t enough respiratory stuff going on, the worst Saharan dust cloud in 20 years will be settling in San Antonio this weekend.

He is super skinny, some of it genetic, some of it because of all the chemo. He's still growing but is currently about 5' 7", maybe 5' 8" by now, and weighs about 95 pounds. His friends on the wrestling team at his high school nicknamed him "Sticks". I have been told I may not use that nickname. In the way that nicknames work in this family, somebody starts goofing around, improvising with the words/situation on hand. So, sticks and his first name led to one of his brothers referring to him as an arrow.

Did I mention that his wrestling career lasted about a week? He got a concussion in wrestling practice before the first meet. He was recruited to be on the wrestling team because of that 95 pound thing. The lowest weight class for high school wrestling is 106 pounds. His high school hadn't had anybody in that weight class for at least 5 years and maybe closer to 10. The team captain convinced him to come out be promising he would win almost all of his matches - by forfeit. It was a nice idea, but, just like The Drewsk's football career, very short-lived.
