The mid-crisis political energy blame game is already in full swing deep in the heart of Texas. (Clap clap clap)

My entire zip code for about 10 hours now. What is weird is that many in much more rural areas (co-workers) doing fine power wise.

One (me) is reminded of famous comments (and bumperstickers) from Texas during the Arab oil embargo of the early 1970s, but I shall refrain from mentioning them in the interest of harmony and love!

I just wish people would let the dust settle, take a look around, figure out what happened and THEN start hawking their narrative. But then if they did that people would not be people. Never let a crisis go to waste!

Hope all our Texas friends are warm. These are dangerous conditions. Looks like the NE is going to get it this week.

Wintry mix is a staple of the DC area! We’re expecting it tomorrow night. It’s something like our fourth run in with it. Bleagh.

Got hit by the rolling blackout this morning. Neighbors will let me know when it is back on. Co-worker was out for 50 minutes. I think we are about 2 hours - hoping not much longer for the pipe's sake. It is in the single digits here.

Certainly. I mean it was no Gaiking or Battle of the Planets but it certainly beats Joanie loves Chachi.

Sunny and near 50 today but more snow is coming. Think we’re going to have it on the ground everyday in February.
