Our yard is decent sized but the part of it that needs mowing is not particularly large. It takes my son about a half hour to do it.

Ours is small, but incredibly steep. It can take anywhere from twenty minutes to two hours depending on different factors.

This Old House is just the cure for a 94F San Antonio afternoon. Unfortunately, next week is the last new episode.

Mine has a gradual slope. Not particularly big (0.27 acre lot) but I do mow some shaded area with a neighbor. Takes me about 40 minutes to mow.

I do need to trim some branches that are starting to grow to close to the front walk.

Is it just an old school reel mower?

Yep. No gas, no battery, just elbow grease.

It's what I've always called a push mower but I think some people refer to push mowers in contrast to riding mowers. To me a push mower is one powered only by a human pushing.

In the next few days, maybe sooner, we will reach posts 27272. That's a fun looking number.

We've only been at this for 12 1/2 years, so, maybe?

Yeah, there's a post in the Ymm, Beer thread from devildeac that says "At least we're not talking about lawnmowers."

I'm not much of a beer drinker myself.

The hubby always jokes that on those occasional times when I order a beer, the race is on! Between me and evaporation.

So - all that discussion of craft beers - what are the worst beers out there?

I mean I assume Bud Light is atrocious. Probably Miller Lite too.

But what are some beers that are supposed to be good but aren't?

When you only ever occasionally drink beer, you never waste your time on "light" beers.

I do, however, drink beer more often than I mow the lawn.
