Yep! Funny thing, I was working/living at central campus one summer. A bunch of us who spent the days quoting Princess Bride, Pee Wee's Big Adventure and SNL's Coffee Talk decided to rent Holy Grail. At some point during the movie, I suddenly woke up, looked around, and EVERYONE else was fast asleep. So I was not the only one!!!
Hmmmmm. Summer on central? Y’all been partaking in anything that might facilitate sleeping or is it possible that everyone without a sense of humor managed to be in the same place that night? The latter seems unlikely…

We partook of nothing. And if I counted the times in my life that I laughed the hardest, several came from that summer. As in rolling on the ground and not breathing for ten minutes. Crazy bunch! Good times! Boring movie.

Wait. That is your reaction to what he said?!?! I would have been threatened severely!!!!!
I think lots of people hate Ferrell and Sandler movies though. I mean more like something kind of universally beloved that you hate. Like Lil Sébastien.

Ferrell holds up better but, yeah, he’s mostly playing the same or similar characters in many of his movies (much the same as Sandler’s dumb, angry child act).
Haha, I contain multitudes.
I recognize that Lebowski is a head-scratching hole in my movie/media tastes, but I've tried to watch it five times now and fallen asleep every time. It just bores me and doesn't get me going at all. I can't explain.
Stop watching it at 3 a.m.

Not to mention the decades of people constantly quiting the movie.
So fun topic: movies everyone else loved that you didn't.
Napoleon Dynamite
Based on current box office, Spiderman: No Way Home. Not a fan.
But you used the past tense, so were probably searching for movies that were more "classic". So for me, Pulp Fiction. I still regret that I didn't just walk out.

Oh, I can relate. Spider Man just doesn’t do it for me. One of the least interesting superheroes and franchises and like it seems a new one comes out every other year, blah blah blah.
