Back when we had a more consistent choir, we did one of her pieces called "Gloria". It was lots of fun - plenty of special effects. The congregation always enjoys those.

Does everyone remember that we set our clocks back 1 hour tomorrow night - actually at 2am Sunday morning?

Do you think there is a chance that they will ever give up the Daylight Savings Time thing?

I'm not sure I can keep up with you on the egg jokes, but I don't want the contest to be over easy. I'll try to keep the sunny side up.

Now you've got things really scrambled up and I'm not sure the white direction to take.

I may have to be yellow and runny away - you are beating me.

I'm hard boiled enough to keep at this - each post gets me closer to BillyBreen.

Why do I want to say Yorick was the grave-digger?

Mr. DA rules! This is now a close rival to my favorite, the Death Star Pumpkin.

Funny thing is, I saw Mr. DA's design somewhere else. My daughter's tool kit for carving pumpkins had a similar design on a pattern that we could have used for our pumpkin this year.

Did Mr. DA claim a patent on the design?

Okay, devildeac and DIK, you can definitely out-pun me any day of the week. I think I'll declare DIK the winner for this round. Unless there's more to come, that is.

Probably not, but I think I'll like the extra hour of sleep tomorrow night.

Strangely, I remembered it as "alas, poor Yorick, I knew him well" before I went and looked up the spelling of Yorick. Since I looked this up I know the answer to your trivia question, so I can't answer.

Dobrinski's stuff is always interesting. She did a workshop for our handbell choir back when I lived in Virginia. We got quite a look from her when we messed up the ending of one of her pieces. Can't remember which one it was - I think I've blocked it out. My last choir jokingly referred to her pieces as her "medicated" (the ones that were somewhat normal) and "unmedicated" (random key and time signature changes) pieces.

All this fowl talk is making me long to go down and make some breakfast.
