    Not holding my breath.

    Which would be preferable:
    1. They win the tournament and the hammer falls
    2. They lose in the finals and the hammer falls

    3. They win the tournament and the revised NOA charges that one of the current players was ineligible.

They lose tonight, and then get the death penalty Monday morning.

I want'em to lose in the most epic and heartbreaking style that has ever been recorded to history.
    Then...the Death Penalty.

    Then...muted fans.

I think it'd be hilarious if Carolina loses and then immediately--like in the post-game presser--self-imposes for next year.
    I like this option, too.

Al Capone always wished for a self-imposed verdict and/or sentencing procedure. Just sayin'...

    Possible, but unlikely

    Possible, and deserved

    Then...muted fans.
Impossible, it's unc fans we are talking about, right?

    Deadliest Catch -- new episodes!

I'll admit it, I have been addicted to this show for a decade. Only show I watch regularly.

I stopped watching Deadliest Catch a few years ago. It conflicted with some of my other shows, then I think I was in class and forgot to record it, so I just drifted away (no pun intended).

Side note: OPK, I started studying for the NV bar today. I want to cry. I know people manage bar study + work, but dang, I don't know how.

Stock some bail money for me Sue. My annual trips to Vegas have avoided problems so far, but -- I'm due.

All punnery here is deemed intentional and with malice.

You were responding to a lawyer - shouldn't it be malice aforethought?

    Sounds more legalistic that way.

Ok - where's the April Fool's joke? That Dan Kane stuff isn't a joke, is it?

    It's not a joke.

Per another thread, SBNation apparently frowns on April Fools pranks.

Too bad, they were always genius. Got me more than once.

Eggplant parm night! A pleasant Nebbiolo, too.
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

What time should we be there?

Good man! Deebers have a standing invitation, we usually eat around 7:00pm.

Unless I have grown bored with mine own cooking brilliance and then it's the exciting forage for leftovers.

With great company, foraging can be fun.

Trying to use leftovers at the lake last summer, the plan was to take the leftover taco meat and mix it with cheese and taco sauce, fill multi-grain Tostito's scoops, heat, and top with a dollop of sour cream. Went to the fridge and the taco meat was gone. Someone thought it had gone bad and tossed it. So I shredded the leftover chicken with whatever spice concoction was on it and used it instead of the taco meat. The great nieces and nephew were sceptical but agreed to try one - immediately went back for more. Their mom kept asking for the recipe.
