I went to 2nd grade in England. My father was on sabbatical. We did a whirlwind Easter vacation jaunt on The Continent (France, Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, and Germany in 8 days) but, other than that, I did all of my growing up in Durham, so, I both moved around and stayed put!

Jets are busy tonight. Maybe they are moving them all out of the corona zone they set up next to the Air Force base?

Between birth and graduating from Duke, the longest I lived anywhere was 4 years and the shortest was 11 months and 5 days. I have lived in the same city since I graduated from Duke.

Thought about it occasionally but never seriously. Having spent 7 years where the immediate family was spread around the globe, I like being close to most of them.

Toilet paper. I just use the three seashells!*

*That is a reference but probably an obscure one for most people.

Because strange things are afoot at the Circle K?

I'm ready to go now or resign myself to my fate.

    Durham, NC.

Chalvington, Sussex, England. Dad was a Duke prof. Did his sabbatical at the University of Sussex.

The story works better if it were Durham in England also.

Personally, I'd rather commit a murder-death-kill than go without my beloved rippled Cottonelle.
