Been out of touch with the real world while on the annual mission trip (no electronics policy - only use laptop to blog). The group from Ohio told us about police being shot in Minneapolis and caught a brief story on Nice at breakfast stop yesterday. Did I miss anything else? Especially any good stories?

(Did "cheat" and check on CB&B's dad during the week. That was more important than the electronic ban.)

Yeah, uh, the world has been busy in your absence, and everyone under 35 has decided to start staring at their phones as they make their way through the universe... I mean, moreso than ever before.

Oh, and Trump picked a veep.
    Let's go Duke!

I spent a week with 6 youth that took a week of their summer to go roof the house of someone they never met and work with children they hadn't seen before and probably won't every see again. It gives me confidence that the world will get better.

Mick Jagger, age 72, announces he's having his eighth child with 29 year old ballerina girlfriend.
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

Don't know all the details but it seem irresponsible. I represented a guy some years ago who fathered 3 children after the age of 80. He left money but it was an emotional, family mess.

Love the Rolling Stones music. Don't need to love their geriatric conquests.

Woke up this morning to go for a run with my roommate before work. It was a few minutes past 5. Walked outside to see a man on a bike attempting to break into every car on the street. Not exactly how I expected to start the morning.
