Sorry. Busy packing today. Many thanks to EJam who also packed a bit for us. ILoveJimmy and I appreciate his help today.

    Think Phelps will win tonight/tomorrow?

Y'know, add a few spaces to Mrs. Lavabe's screen name and the last sentence in the first paragraph sounds pretty funny.

Yeah, the whole time slot thing needs to be thought about given geographic dispersion...or one TZ needs to be designated. Maybe we should go by GMT?

Congratulations on being Johnny Dawkins. That leaves JJ.

Let's do Pacific Time Zone, as DA is our key poster in the wee hours of the morning on the east coast.

STILL can't get it with the TZ of the Beijing Olympics. It's 12 hours ahead of our east coast time zone, yes?

    Cheers,

Oohh, JD for Ymo. Wonder if that will slow down the assault on Jumbo and JJ? Yea, right...

I salute them if the packing is done. Mine took about twice as long as I thought it would. Makes me not want to move again.

    Neither A nor B.

EJam did the lion's share of the kitchen. We still have lots to do, but we also have a 12-yr-old girl. And while that's going on, we had two sets of contractors make repairs (one is still doing them). And I also have to prepare to go up to KY.

Most of my packing is done. ILoveJimmy has a friend coming over tomorrow to get hers done. I leave 230AM Monday to go to KY.

But hey, at least my car is back, and it's not dead yet (I hadn't had it for the last two weeks).

Is there a new EarlJam poll somewhere?

    Cheers,
    Lavabe

Packing + too much beer is not a good thing. Strange things can go missing for long periods of time. (Hunny, why is there a wine goblet in the sweater box?)

Which Monty Python flick has the line, "I'm not dead yet"? Am I remembering the line correctly?

    Holy Grail. "I feel happy . . . ."

Sweaters make good packing material for glass.

    Does he offer any insurance?

Actually, kitchen packing is my favorite part of moving. There's something calming in wrapping all the plates, bowls, glasses in paper.

Bathroom packing, for some reason, is my least favorite.

Shouldn't this be on the "packing" thread?

    1. Put the 12 y.o. on the packing "payroll" (jk-NB-at least I didn't suggest putting her on the "ymm, beer" payroll)
    2. At least you will be awake at 230 AM on Monday and hopefully not posting on the DBR as you drive
    3. EJ almost always has a new poll. In fact, there is a poll about EJ having (a) poll/s

Which was then lovingly adapted to the stage as "Spamalot."

Excellent point. Beat me to it. They also make excellent packing material for the cross country airplane ride that beers from other areas take that I know I can't find in Raleigh. (yea, beer is available in cans, too)

We're not doing so hot at our attempt to post every hour around the clock.

Just watched Dara Torres swim. She did an impressive job. Makes me feel like a slacker.
