While an incredible boxer, did Ali really have the same fear factor as say Mike Tyson who had 33 KOs in his first 37 fights?

I don't think any boxer compares to Tyson for sheer brutality when he was in his prime. He was a beast right at the opening bell. If you don't want to watch the whole video, skip to the 6:22 mark and watch the top 3 first round knockouts.

    Blech! Boxing.

My mild-mannered little grandmother would apparently get all worked up watching the matches with my grandfather and start yelling, "Bust 'im open!" I would have loved to have seen that.

And yes, I see the irony in my statement given my avatar.

The only boxer that could get under Tyson's skin was Evander Holyfield, so Iron Mike bit off part of his ear. I'm not a fan of boxing, but Mike Tyson's story is pretty incredible.

After his last Holyfield fight he said he was going to fade away into Bolivian. I love that.

I've never been to Vegas. I'm not against going but it will probably never bubble up to being the place I want to go just to go.

I can't watch boxing for the same reasons that I can't really watch football anymore.

I watched 3 plays of the Super Bowl. Earlier this season, my husband was home and excited to watch a regular season game. I decided to spend some time watching football with him and sat down on the couch. Less than 1 minute later, Damar Hamlin went down. Nope.

    True story:
Iron Mike and the Real Deal have now teamed up on a venture selling ear-shaped cannabis gummies.

The Real Deal is Evander Holyfield. That was his nickname as an active boxer.

BD has evidently forgotten her Snoop Dogg, namely the line in 'Nothin' But a G Thang' wherein he proclaimed that his lady friend (or at least, ahem, a certain part of her) was "realer than Real Deal Holyfield."
