I've been to France twice in the last decade. Paris, Normandy, Brittany (my fave!), Nice, Avignon, Ez, Tours, but not Chartres. Paris was at the top of my list of places I wanted to visit then, finally, I got to go. I'd go back, but it's no longer at the top of places I've never been.

Harder to pick the top of the list now. Ireland or Wales, I think, then Italy. Been to Austria but not Vienna.

A little easier to pick the places I want to revisit first: Scotland (particularly Inverness and Edinburgh), Iceland, Bath, Salzburg.

My sort of beach is perfect for social diatancing where I can walk for hours and not see anyone. Not Jacksonville, with people rushing towards the ocean en masse.

I suspect that won't end well.
Is that happening in Jacksonville right now?

I get tired of the heat, but I don't miss the snow.

Honestly, at this point, I think I would miss the snow if I left.

It wasn't awful but I do see why it wasn't a box office hit. The play itself is merely a collection of great music with some lyrics thrown in. The current director tried to create a story/plot. Taylor Swift's song Beautiful Ghosts was an effort to do that. I do think the choice of Dame Judy Dench as Old Deuteronomy was less than ideal. But then, I'm a traditionalist who prefers the Betty Buckley version of the song:

Assuming that we someday get through the current whatever you want to call it, I will be spending a significant portion of time in DC.

Watched the Phantom of the Opera today
It was the 25th Anniversary. Best part was Sarah Brightman and 4 Phantoms after the speeches.

Andrew Lloyd Webber is streaming one of his shows for 48 hours starting each Friday.

I haven't seen Phanton nor Evita. I've listened to the music quite a bit.

Well, given that it is thick as pea soup out there and while it may not have rained much all the snails are out, I guess it it haircut first.
