Nope. It's a man, a lady, and a funnel cloud.

I'll be giving a primer on the Ukraine/Russia situation to my 7th and 8th graders (via Zoom) in a few minutes. We do current events on Fridays, and just last week, we started a series of conversations about how history affects them. This situation, though horrible and worrisome, does get my historian juices flowing, and the timing is good to get them thinking about some things.

Distressingly, most kids I talk to know essentially nothing about geography...they couldn't name a quarter of U.S. states on a map, much less find Ukraine...

Hell, I'd be willing to give an LTE presentation if anyone cares to sit in on it. I certainly don't have [redacted] else to do for at least several more days...

    Heh.
I love maps. Use them on a daily basis in class.
I also enjoy maps as home decor and as a source of personal inspiration. I don't get how people stare at them and are unable to even articulate a potential use for them.

That's rad. I'll eventually have a map indelibly inscribed into my dermal tissue as well. What do you have?

"Titty chortle" sounds like some sort of twee British euphemism for...I dunno what.
