Yes. The LTE was not available earlier this morning. Open panic ensued.

I shared my favorite Shakespeare play - does anybody else have a favorite?

I'm partial to Hamlet but only because of my personal connection with it I think.

Oh, and because of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, which is brilliant. The movie version with two of my favorite underappreciated actors -- Gary Oldman and Tim Roth -- is also very good. (Richard Dreyfuss is surprisingly weak IMO). Tom Stoppard directed it, too.

Hamlet is the odds on favorite to win my FB tournament. I'll probably vote against it in the semis and the finals just cause.

In a very good short play written by one of my playwriting friends, there is an exchange that I cannot completely recreate here but you'll get the idea.

Character 1: Pick any fictional character.
Character 2: I dunno. How about Hamlet?
Character 1: Hamlet! Hamlet? It always comes back to (expletive deleted) Hamlet! . . . Ok, fine, take Hamlet for instance.

and then the play goes on with the character using the idea of Hamlet to make her point. I've always loved that line.

Hamlet! Hamlet? It always comes back to (expletive deleted) Hamlet!

    That made me chuckle.

New plants and tender basil all covered and ready for the polar vortex tonight. Resting up for a big day of napping tomorrow.
Shrimp etouffee on the Sat menu.
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

    It makes me chuckle too.

I confessed to this particular playwright once that he makes me more jealous than any other playwright I know. I told him, "Whenever I see your stuff, it makes me wish I'd written it." And he replied, "I feel the exact same way about your stuff."

So, I got that going for me.

It was snowing but not sticking an hour ago. It's stopped. I wouldn't say that the sun is out - still cloudy - but it is brighter.

    Good luck!

I haven't been camping since I left the Girl Scouts. I did buy a couple of these when I started producing outdoor Shakespeare because they make great dressing rooms for your cast! https://www.amazon.com/WolfWise-Pop-.../dp/B07SQ31DQ2

Do you sell those? If so, I'll know where to come the next time I need a replacement.

Good luck also Mtn.Devil and most importantly be safe. I know these times have created many dilemmas for the small business owner.

Lots of calculations and weighing of unknown and suspect data. It's maddening.
