Absolutely! You don't even have to bring wine. We can shoot off the potato gun for after dinner excitement.
    Country livin'!

I'm considering brats and pierogies for Saturday. And I'm not even Polish.

Is there any cheese to go with that wine?

When I come to San Antonio, you can provide the cheese and I'll bring wine. No one is allowed to bring an H to go with the wine, however.

LTE went to page 2, so here is your local (AVL) weather report.

Today, sunny 75°. Tomorrow, 90% chance of snow/ice.

Gotta love Western NC weather, eh?

Weatherman on the news last night said there would be snow south of the viewing area. I drove to the office with snow falling. Didn't have any accumulation, however. Weather is apparently very unpredictable and changeable.

As are the prognostications of what it will do.

I didn't eat or drink anything green today.

Wait, that's not true. I ate a pickle.

I went to my school's Barrister's Ball last night. For those wondering what the heck that is, it's also known as law school prom. I didn't go either of my first two years, so I figured I'd go for it since this was my last shot. I had a great time, but ladies, I have some advice for you upon waking up today.

    1. Sequin dresses are beautiful, but they cut up your legs and the underside of your arms. I didn't realize this.

    2. Crocs were not made for children. Nope. They were made for women whose feet are either numb or in excruciating pain from standing and dancing for hours in uncomfortable heels the night before. Trust me on this. I have Crocs flip flops on now, and they're a godsend. It's like walking on a cloud.

    3. Not just for the ladies, here... Make sure you have enough bacon on hand for the morning. I could've eaten more. And more.

    4. Again, not just for the ladies... After a night of partying, take some advil + a multivitamin (yes, you read that right) when you go to bed. You will thank me in the morning.

Overall, I think I kept up pretty well with all the youngins last night. And unlike most of them, I'm quite coherent today.

Ok, off to work on a midterm and watch the Duke game in an hour.

I think I have decided on a 9mm instead, probably the Glock 19 for the reliability that Glock offers. The 26 is just too small for my hands.

Next thing you know we'll be discussing old 78 RPM vinyl records:
