Yes, it was. I stopped eating 6 hours ago, and I'm still full.

It was. And here it is the next morning, and I'm not ready for breakfast yet. Maybe by lunchtime?

I was going to do that - but went with pumpkin bread instead. Will have the pie for breakfast tomorrow.

Was that by choice or due to the move?

I missed Thanksgiving this year, and not by choice.

Definitely by choice, though if I were offered some...

There will always be pumpkin pie available for you in Overland Park, KS. In fact, the Thanksgiving pie isn't gone yet.

I'm sorry to hear this, Sue.

By the way, how's your Dad?

We just polished off the last slice of pumpkin, and last of pecan, for lunch. Very sad time - no more pie until XMas.

    But we still have eggnog!

Was wondering this too - how's uncle yucky?

I left the pies at my sister's as there are more people in that house. I did bring 2 pieces of pumpkin home - will have the last one with dinner tonight. Had a sliver of Bourbon Pecan and Cranberry Apple Streusel on Thanksgiving day.

No egg nog until Christmas Eve for me. Occasionally I'll do store bought egg nog, but hold out for the real stuff - a heart attack in a cup. (Egg yolks, sugar, half & half, whipped cream, and Southern Comfort)

    Oh NO!!!

Care to vent on what happened?

Sue, you've had, by far, the worst year of any person I know. I understand the Chinese have a saying that for every three bad years, you get 6 good; you're due for about 6 years worth of goodness crammed into 2010. Big hugs and vibes to you.

Work is SOOO quiet today. And they didn't turn the heat on over the weekend, apparently, as it's completely freezing in the office.

A good day to boost your posting totals and, incidentally, keep warm for the effort.
