Although, to be fair, I did break a couple of hearts. I felt bad about it. Sometimes I still do although I think they got over me.

I got my heart positively shattered once, and then broke-ish one myself (although that was more a case of "I was clear all along and she continually convinced herself that things would turn out another way, until I finally and summarily made it clear that I was going to stick to my guns.").
Everyone has turned out (more than) fine, and now I look back on the experiences as really valuable and important lessons learned, with an occasional dash of wistfulness tossed in here and there.
