Suspect this is the season I find out if we sunk the footings deep enough on our 2020 shed build. I've a recurring nightmare that I'll arrive someday to see the structure tumbled into the ravine.

Similar to 20+ years ago, but the last few decades have been much warmer than usual, the climate here has definitely changed...for example, for most of the 20th century, big Lake Champlain completely froze over nearly every Winter, but for the past 20 years it rarely freezes over.

Actually the furnace won't come on all day as the big sun hitting the windows heats the house, thank you Mr. Sun!

I relish all of these puns. (Sorry if already used, I’m late to the cookout).

Mid 70s yesterday afternoon, high will be 50s today. Bigger issue for us has been the wind. Sustained 20s with gusts in the 50s. At this point, I've given up hope of finding the grill cover.

a month ago my grill cover made it about 200 yards before it got hung up in the puckerbrush...could lose it again today...

May the fleas of 1000 camels nest in your bed.

Boeuf Bourguignon in the stove. Looked at Julia Child's original recipe but didn't follow it exactly. You know what the directions are? That's one person's opinion.

I brought some fresh boudin home from New Orleans, but I don’t know what to do with it. I’m sorta intimidated tbh.
