I get nostalgic when I boot up one of my old machines. Particularly one that I've built and haven't used in a few years...

Which helps explain why I have 7 functioning computers in my house not including my work PC.

I have made it to the benchmark day that I had targeted as my "home free" date without losing my marbles. I should be able to make it to summer basically in cruise control from here on out (famous last words, but after what the last 2+ years have thrown at our profession, bring it on).

BD spent Mother's Day dealing with one of those 24 hour GI bugs. But it's not covid, tested this morning, negative.

I spent yesterday morning at Duke's graduation. It's May in North Carolina. How is it possible to be so flipping cold in a suit? An hour and half sitting stock still in 50-degrees with a howling wind, that's how. Let's just say that I did not play the recessional so very well.
