Yep! Can't remember which car(s) I remember that from. My parents' 98 Oldsmobile or the Gremlin. Maybe both? Can't remember what years they were. My grandma had a 1963 98 Olds with a huge bench seat in the front. And she had short legs, so we ALL sat close to the dashboard.

My brother's 87 Dodge Ram has that. Notice I said HAS. You can hear that thing coming from a mile away.

Mad respeck for somebody still rolling in one of those.
Bonus points if it's a single-cab, triple bonus points if it has a two-tone paint job.

He doesn't roll in it as much as chug. It is not a smoothly running machine. It is single-cab, with a bench seat, not two-toned, except for the rust.

It drives like hell. Gets terrible gas mileage. Looks awful. Sounds even worse. In short, it's his dream car.

No, his midlife crisis dream care is the KIA Stinger he bought early in the pandemic.

Thanks, my memory works in funny ways. If I have a conversation with someone new, I likely won't remember their name but will remember all the details of whatever it was they told me.

I'd also like to hereby formally request a change from Smuggler's Notch to The Robber's Knobber.

Or at least the vent option on the heating/cooling system.

And I miss the floor switch for brights - less accidental switching them on.

Posted my earlier response before I read this one.

Smuggler's Notch sounds like a Hardy Boys book The Robber's Knobber sounds like a niche porn.
