You should be able to order cookies like you order steaks. I definitely prefer my cookies medium rare.

I don't eat cookies, but I bake them. The kids love them with just a hint of a crust starting, but still quite doughy. Hot dough with a smidge of crust like I think you are describing. I taught them this. Also the first song my daughter ever learned was "Lose" by DMX. And my son can make the "Bloods" gang sign because I taught him. I'm a good dad.

I am, not sure what everyone else is doing.

And what about Daphne or Velma and Fred or Shaggy?

All-time: Cheryl Ladd, Carol Alt, Halle Berry, Ashley Judd, Faith Hill.

Also Daphne, Betty not Veronica, Betty not Wilma, and on that damn island I am taking my shot at both. I just am.

Starting the refilling of my pool today after the renovations (finally). Never again.

As my father always said, any job worth doing is worth paying someone else to do it.

As a side note, a little bit of unusual luck for me: I have two city water lines. One for the house, and one for landscaping and pool needs. Last month, the meter for the landscaping water line froze up and stopped registering water usage. Free water for filling the pool! It kinda makes up for Gwinnett county overcharging for about the last ten years. During a drought, they raised the water rates substantially to encourage water conservation. Take a wild guess as to whether they lowered the rates when the drought ended.

    1. I worked construction to put myself through college and I worked in tobacco fields as a teen. I'm not averse to hard work. But the tool I enjoy using the most is a checkbook. I love and have a passion for not having to do stuff and paying other people to do them. My general thought process has been if mechanics won't intubate and care for their own babies then I won't change my own oil. We have a system.

    2. I'm going with yes. It's yes, right? I'm correct aren't I?

I know my limitations when it comes to home projects, and they are considerable. Problem now is that competent workmen in various fields, especially carpenters, are in very short supply. We have a very good carpenter who we have to book 6-12 months in advance.

Yes. Projects require long timetables and heavy pockets. Nothing comes easily.
