I did once see a man slathered in baby oil and wearing nothing but a banana hammock cranking out push ups while yelling at anyone passing by random facts about Jay Bilas and neonatal respiration.

After 9 1/2 years of faithful service, my dryer vent hose perished today. I guess I should have replaced it at year 7 like I did the water lines to the washer.

Maybe it will see a second life as a banana hammock.

if I ever find the guy who designed my dryer vent pathway to the great outdoors, I will assault him. Instead of going straight out thru the wall to the outside, it instead drops down thru the floor, into the basement bathroom (inside a dropped ceiling) then exits from there. Makes no sense at all...you need a circus contortionist to replace the thing...

I am needing to have mine re-routed. Anyone know if it can vent out at the soffit from my attic?

Many feel this is a huge no-no. Local guy wrote a homeowner column for years and would rant about this. The problem (according to him, and I think he's right) is that your attic is designed to be cold...and the warm air running thru the vent will create condensation and you'll get dripping water in the attic, which would harm your insulation among other things.

I keep my bananas in a bowl. Sometimes there are other fruits in there too.
