I'm going to have a blueberry Leggo waffle. I eat them plain, without syrup. My whole family thinks it's gross. I don't care.

Finally got started putting in some miles for the Massachusetts Virtual Endurance Challenge yesterday. I needed some motivation so I signed up for this thing. I've got to put in 81 miles (running or walking) between now and July 31. It started on June 17 so I'm already behind. I did a 5k yesterday in 90 degree heat so instead of my usual run/walk, I did walk/run. Actually it was walk, walk some more, run for a bit, walk. Normally, on days like that, I'd run on the treadmill inside the air-conditioned gym.
Heat and running and my age are not a good combo. Still, I managed to get 'er done. Only 77.9 miles to go!
^ possible heresy alert!
That is totally acceptable in my book, but I'm not a fan of Eggos. I actually prefer Harris Teeter's own brand of blueberry waffles, and especially their multigrain waffles. And while plain is acceptable, I do usually go for pure maple syrup, heated for a few seconds before pouring.
FWIW, Lego waffles are an actual thing.
