I'm not sure where Pen Argyl is -- is that where she was from originally?

Although she was well before my time, it is clear that she "had it" for her time. I'm not sure who the modern comparison is for her.

She was only 44...that isn't that far away for me.

    C'mon folks, who's with me?

Random thought of the day for me: I really miss those chocolate Pop Tarts with the peppermint filling. Whatever happened to those? I might have been the only person who liked them, but I really, really, really liked them.

How long will it take to get to 1000 posts, do you think? Never?

See what you've done. This thread has, in a few weeks, been on this forum for 3 years, mostly on the first page of the forum index. It has 14,195 posts, 14,196 after I submit this post, and has been viewed 295,051 times. That's some accomplishment. I think devildeac must have near half of the posts.

I couldn't copy and past the entire "section" that I intended to put in that post. Sorry.

Her grandparents settled here. She moved to Texas when she was about 3.

Pen Argyl is near Allentown - at least that's the airport I use. (Note: My family is actually in Bangor - a rival of Pen Argyl.)

Happy snowy Thanksgiving to everyone. I'm thankful for all my Cyberspace friends and acquaintances.

5K walk is done and the turkey is in the oven! I can't wait.

    Happy Thanksgiving

Quite possibly the funniest video ever recorded...and at least 5 copies were made.

I got my dryer fixed yesterday. Also very exciting.

Cookies and Cream PopTarts are good.

BostonDevil - have you ever run across the pattern to knit the digestive tract? Apparently, one exists somewhere. I'd like to see a picture of the finished project. Must google sometime.

And no, never, life is too short.

It's too short to knit with acrylic too.
