I, personally, don't like them "that" smoky but a lot of folks do. I'm also not as knowledgeable but maybe they are top 15/top 20?

Sorry no beer posting yesterday. After the first shot on Monday, I was exhausted all day yesterday. Literally felt like I hadn't slept a wink the entire night before, even though I had slept all night.

I'm back today though. Maybe I'll continue the list. See what comes up!

Very peaty — acquired taste. I like it, but you may want to try a glass somewhere before committing to a bottle.

Thanks! Again, my Scotch knowledge is very limited.

    Maybe? Yes, please!

Delighted to hear you're injected AND recovered. Guessing you got the Pfizer shot?

It’s been mentioned before, but Balvenie Doublewood is my sweet spot for relatively inexpensive single malts.

Same feeling I had after shot #1. Very satisfying/comforting. Congrats again!

I believe that came from RJ199 and maybe T-dub, too.

    Somehow, I knew you would.

I had to research a bit. At first, I thought "rum barrels." Silly me.

RJ and OPK mentioned it to me. I'm a total scotch novice.

You don't sound like one, but, your good looks can be deceptive.

Yep. As I stated upthread, I had to research that and learn some more about distilled spirits. If I'm not learning something directly from posters on Ymm, Beer, I'm being encouraged/stimulated to research the topic and stay away from nonsense. Thanks again.
