Sigh, more rain. This has been the rainiest September on record in San Antonio.

I like the way you think DinK! I should give those bass clef's a try...

I have it on good authority that it’s all about the bass.

As I told MrsPK, I’m a fan of the entire symphony.

If he wants to get in a rock band, everyone plays guitar but not many play bass.

As a father, you may not want to let him know that though . . . .

If he joins a rock band, he'll play drums. He already has a kit in the basement...

I think I only knocked over 5 people so I could be the first volunteer. If I had been there - you would not have beaten me! So jealous. ;-) Sounds like fun!

I stayed up way too late watching "Basketball - A Love Story" on the worldwide leader. Anybody check this out?

It's a weird series of classic basketball segments almost like mini "30 for 30's" with no chronology or pattern I could discern.

Last night's topics included Frank McGuire's first batch of cheaters, Maurice Stokes, Connie Hawkins, Russell, the 72 Olympics, etc.

Gonna have to buy the book.

I have an annoyingly large number of random light bulbs burnt out in my house. Widely scattered; all varieties of wattage, style, socket size and degrees of accessibility.

    Time for another scotch.

Compact fluorescents have spared me from light bulb changes for years. I still have a large inventory of them. It appears the industry has moved on to LEDs, I'll still be plugging away with the CFLfor another decade (or two).
