Scarves are way cool. I wish I could knit; I've tried several times to learn but I keep dropping stitches and wind up with something that resembles wooly swiss cheese.

I don't think those are the lyrics. There are two Rs in plounderring.

Now come on EJam... you give us Michael Bolton, then you put a blood stain on his forehead, then you go to the UTZ girl.

I wanted to see what you would do to Michael Bolton.

I KNOW ... put a scarf on him.

    Cheers,
    Lavabe

Wouldn't he look cute with a flower behind his ear?

    Welcome, my friends

to the show that never ends . . .

Irrelevant, I just like those lyrics. And maybe this will be the never ending thread.

I dropped off the net for a few days, moving my daughter into an apartment for the spring semester. As a reward I got to go to the Cornell game! I like being a dad.

Very glad to see the scarfing in this thread. That almost sounds like a pun?

Try crochet. Only one hook (instead of 2 needles), and the intent for most patterns is to end up looking like woolly swiss cheese, but pretty.

I just reread that and wanted to clarify that I meant *Michael Bolton* was done, not EarlJam.

Hi DevilAlumna! I tried crochet too but failed at that as well. I'm just not a crafty person. Well, I can make paper stars but that's about it.

We couldn't do our half of the family football tournament on Thanksgiving since we didn't know how to make the paper footballl. On a brighter note, the family croquet game did occur on Christmas Day - we just didn't know if knocking snow off the ball was allowed prior to striking it with the mallet. (An ruling not covered on any websites we found.)

I think paper football skills are the #1 thing I learned in seventh grade.

You know, I'm kind of rooting for billybreen or Ymo to win the scarf because then I could hand deliver it, plus I know they can use a nice wool or wool/cashmere blend scarf around here. And it will look so much better on them than on Michael Bolton. But I'm not going to rig it, I promise.

    No winner yet.

Thanks! Of course, it was 60 something today, but I hope we get back to scarf weather soon.

Bring me the scarf of love. Bring it to EarlJam.

    EarlJam love scarf.

    Scarf love EarlJam.

Together, under the pale winter moon, we make warm, passionate love.

    Me, EarlJam, and the scarf.

Come to me scarf, my lover.

    -EarlJam
