    Give that a try.

I'm full of smoked salmon and smoked lamb and Icelandic beer. Totally stuffed.
And husband of weezie suggested that I stop imitating all the British tourist accents.
Actually he's engrossed in re-reading Blood Meridian.
    Now what should I do?
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

Post a picture or two of the sights?

I loved Iceland when I was there, really want to go back. It's on the list.

    I’ve never been to Iceland.

I haven't either. There are a lot of places on my list of where I'd like to visit - Antarctica, Galapagos Island, Iceland, Grand Canyon, Alpe d'Huez, & Ankor Wat to list a few. I'd also like to do a tour to revisit the houses I lived in growing up - although I've heard the compound in Seoul is no longer there - but my school is.

I have been to the Grand Canyon!

I use Google Maps to spy on the places I used to live.

Places I lived, worked, played, parked the car to make out...it's all eye in the sky nostalgia these days.

I did locate our house in Tokyo - the yard is gone and now has either 1 or 2 houses in its place. I can see my bedroom window. I need to track down the addresses for Westfield and Atlanta. Not sure I'll be able to locate the correct place in Seoul.

    Do you street view too?

I do - that's how I knew it was our house - although it appears that they actually painted. It was unpainted concrete when we lived there so very long ago. We joked that you could put the orange disk on the house and it would look like a gas station.

Y'all have seen Lion, right? Little boy gets lost in India, adopted to a family in Oz, and uses Google maps to try and locate his original home?

  16. #25296
I’ve been to Food Lion and seen the Lion King.

  17. #25297

Watched it on Girls Movie Night with Sister Anne. Good movie. I actually found the house in Tokyo by walking the route from the train station to the house.
