    I’m too lazy to plug that into an inflation adjuster but I assume debt has been increasing at a higher rate than inflation so we’re even more in debt now?

    We are adding to the principal so it’s a safe assumption it’s higher than inflation. By the rule of 72, it looks about 7% (back of the envelope).
