I had a fantastic day yesterday. I had a good friend from Illinois in for the weekend and we went out looking for leaves. It's peak in the Eastern Deciduous Forest of WV and it was an awesome day. I love this time of year in the mountains!

I'm jealous. It was 88 degrees here yesterday. We went up to SW Michigan on the weekend and there was almost no color even up there. And it was 82 degrees, all the way up there.

Altitude fixes many problems.

Ugh - work here too, tho like Turk, I wasn't all that productive. The weekend was lovely here - sunny, autumnal, great to be outside. Today it was cold, gray and rainy - just totally killed any/all enthusiasm for doing anything but sitting with hot cocoa and reading a good book (or DBR.)

I want that job! Instead, I was preparing tax returns for people that didn't bring their information in until today.

That's what I'm talking about!

Sadly, I too was working, and was a bit slammed yesterday. Not to mention, I was not feeling well so went home had a bowl of soup, a grilled cheese sandwhich, and went to bed.

Feeling much better this morning.

We're getting plenty of color along the Kentucky River.

Unfortunately, you're not allowed to park on the bridge to photograph it.

Once the cool front comes through, throaty, temperatures will be back to normal.
