I knocked out 90 today. It was a struggle. Family emergency caused me to only get about 3-4 hours sleep. My body did not respond well.

But... 3 sets of 20 and 2 sets of 15 for my 90.

Total is 530 for 6 days.

    Everybody else hanging in there???

This is difficult, even at my snail-like pace.

I did my first 100 just now. 34 first. Rest 1 Minute (Too Short I've decided - won't do that again). Then 33 more. Rest 2 Minutes. Then 33 more.

I wanted to quit after about 16. In the final 2 sets I wanted to quit after 5. I had to repeat one because I stuck to the mat and didn't want to come back up.

My goal is 100 a week. 1 down, 21 to go.
Woohoo! I'm impressed you can knock out sets of 33 or 34.

Still wimping out with wall pushups or should that be push outs? I do sets of 25 at various times throughout the day - sometimes in the hall at work and hope that no one comes around the corner. I am a day behind in my count but am working on getting caught up.

We call staying up late watching hoops an emergency in our household, too.

    (Hope everything is OK.)

I didn't say they were pretty.

I got 100 more today. Set of 34. 2 Minute Rest. Set of 33. 2 Minute Rest. Set of 33.

200 down, 2000 to go. I'll probably resume the battle next week, hopefully Monday.

I'm not sure how impressed you would be with my form. But I think they'd qualify. For my 2nd day in a row this 100 wasn't as bad as I feared. On that third set I still wanted badly to quit after 5 push-ups, but doing a few more at a time is do-able.
Those of you doing 10 days in a row or more; I can't even imagine.

Skipped 2 days by mistake. Made up one day today with 150. Total 375.

    Thanks!

    240 this morning. 3 warm up sets of 10, then "blackjack" -- 20 push-ups, 1 sit up, 19 push-ups, 2 sit ups . . . to 1 push-up, 20 sit ups.

    Total 615.

Wow! That's a great amount for the morning. And a fun/interesting way to do it.

My problem -- aside from the physical strain -- is that I would need an assistant to keep score for the 20 rounds.

The visage of Burgess Meredith crouched over you growling out “look at ‘im, he’s an animal lze tell ya!!” Comes to mind.

I'm with you: I have trouble keeping track of four laps in a 1600/mile run.

    75 done. 30 standard, 30 tricep, 15 diamond.

Maybe do more in between meetings.

Up to 585 total, I think.

Was on a cruise where it took 14 laps to equal one mile of walking. They needed to put up a chalkboard or assign a crew member to count.

And, I just got caught doing my first set of 25 wall pushups for the day. And not by one person - a group of 3. Ooops.

I haven't been on DBR much lately and I just now saw this thread. I'm in! I'm a few days late so I'll need almost 100 a day but I should be able to take care of it. I'm in pretty good shape and I'm kinda built for pushups (light, short arms). First couple of days are often the hardest.

I stopped typing and did a set of 50 to get started! Ouch, played volleyball last night for the first time in more than a year...realized just now that I'm kinda sore!
