70 for the high in NW NC today. It was 70 in Atlanta yesterday and I walked on the beltline in a t shirt and shorts.

I bought these wonderfully ridiculous bad boys for last year's Christmas in the Keys, and will be wearing them again this weekend for the 24th annual Christmas party I've hosted with two good old friends.

Generator Man allegedly arrives today to theoretically end the nine month process of getting a standby generator.

For 22 years he dressed up in his birthday suit...

That was a different kind of "key party".

Just the britches, but overall, the holiday collection is quite a strong segment of my wardrobe, if I do say so.

I am not familiar with that Marvel superhero.

Nice. We appear to be heading in the direction of family Christmas pajamas. I don't know how I feel about it but I do not have a say in the matter.

We did family Christmas pajamas but the compromise was that my husband didn't get them, just me and the boys.

Ah, see, I refuse to Scrooge but I still may partake in light grumblies.

I approached Christmas pajamas in the same exact way I approached purchasing a minivan. When you have children you are no longer cool, so you should just lean into it. This year they are Simpsons pajamas.

I’m hoping I don’t regret not getting one.

I don't know about Marvel, but if Triangle Man meets Generator Man, Triangle wins.

Are you more Moe or more Barney? Or just plain old Homer?

I missed all but 53 minutes of the Zaga game due to a power failure...we get them all the time...having said that, the total solution (including the propane tank and gas therin) isn't cheap. We primarily want it for when we go on vacation in the Winter (as if we can go anywhere now).
