IMO it is always better to be surprised rather than disappointed.

Carter has worked hard to get where he is. By all accounts he is a good kid and good student. He and his family have enjoyed this process. His mom is rightfully proud and wants people to know that he is not your typical basketball player. Her interview earlier made clear that she views college as a con in Carter's very unique position. I think it's unrealistic to believe her opinion would change so dramatically so quickly. Carter has upheld his end of the bargain he made when he came to Duke. He unpacked his bags. Good luck young man.

It's on Instagram. He's leaving.
WRAL Just tweeted breaking news...
Omer Yurtseven is transferring to Georgetown. That's a real shocker!
Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?
19 pages later and we just got the result that most of thought we would get anyway.
He’s gone
I got psyched out when the official icon/whatever they tweeted said "Always Duke"
Good luck in the L, Wendell.
It was a fun dream while it lasted. Time for Marquis to step up big time.
Good luck Wendell, if you are still on the board, I hope the Knicks pick you at 9.
