Just a really bizarre set of actions.
The fact that her parents called Laundrie's parents quite a few times after their son had returned home without her, and THEY DID NOT RETURN A SINGLE CALL, makes me think they knew something was wrong.

yes, good summary. Wise choice would be to do himself in, save everyone a lot of time and money and angst.

The most convincing argument against flat earth conspiracy for me has always been there’s no Best Western and mini-golf course on the edge to visit.

I was (regrettably) at a Dollar General Store the other day that HAD to be near the edge of the earth...horrifying place.

Does that complete your community service requirements, so now the charges will be dropped?

you need an especially long line to fish off the edge of the earth. It's a very long way down.

Regarding the Dollar General horror show: I've read that they've been unwilling to raise pay up to the McDonalds/Walmart/just about everyone else level, so this large store had only one employee there, and fully half the aisles were 95% blocked by carts full of merchandise, seven feet tall, totally blocking one half of the aisle, only allowing about 12 inches of space on the other side...

I could not have spelled that correctly. I was going to say I could pronounce it, but y'all know where I'm from. It's probably not true.

Crawled across the Howard Frankland this morning. Actually, I think it would have been faster to crawl. Then a STUPID slowdown on I-75 North for no apparent reason. Most of it between 275 and 301 was at 35-45 mph even though the speed limit is 70. It took six hours to get from St Pete Beach to the Fla Ga line. INsane.

I have driven that recently and it's such a cruddy drive anyway. To have it be that slow is brutal.
