Happy dad day to all our resident fathers!

Breakfast is being prepared for me right now! Eggs in Hell…

…so all this bathroom talk is germane.

If you Stuttgart, you should probably change your britches.

I don't know how you muster up the patience to post on the main page. Reading comments about any sport on there makes me harken back to the seminal words that were spoken by the eminent poet Gene Wilder: "These are people of the land. The common clay of the new West. You know... morons."

Maybe I yearn for the older, simpler times when most conversation was congenial.

At the risk of injecting Duke basketball talk into the LTE - I will never understand why so many fans here will defend Grayson Allen tooth and nail and will in the same breath condemn Kyrie Irving.

I might know. I defend what is defensible only about both.

Why isn't everyone as fair and just as we are?

Admittedly, I breathed a sigh of relief when Grayson graduated.

You can't defend tripping. So I won't. And I eschew whataboutisms. He had a competitive problem and it manifested itself in a terrible way. It was K's to handle and he handled it. The best thing about K is he don't give a damn what anyone thinks about that.

That we agree on. I also think someone can be a generally good person and also let competition get the best of them sometimes.

I’m not a huge fan of either.

It's strange. Kyrie was an unreal talent and I hate we missed out. Grayson never recovered from the backlash against him. He was just unable to compartmentalize and I felt it affected him. That team was still a rebound away from the final 4.

Sometimes I’ll throw elbows in a grocery store aisle if there’s only one tub of our favorite smooth peanut butter left and I think the person ahead of me might be after it, too.

What if it is a little old lady and it's on the top shelf and right before you strike her she asks for help getting it down?
