Celery sticks for the appetizer and chocolate cake for dessert. Or is it the other way around?

Took a pass on the celery sticks. Go figure.

Not really a difficult decision at all. Desserts should always be listed first on the menu.

Is having a desert again a bad thing? Maybe some ice cream?

Ok, this explains why I look like I do.

Around here it is called the Tonganoxie Split. Fronts have a tendency to hit there and either go north or south and miss the city.

World Wide Fund for Nature or World Wildlife Fund.
When did it become World Wildlife Federation?

I wish. In the first 2.5 hours today puppy has demanded more attention than normal (lots of going outside). Three times in one hour. Better outside than inside.

She did, however, kiss my daughter and wife to wake them up this morning. Major league cute.

You were discussing this ice cream a year ago on this thread and brought it up on the recipe thread yesterday. Since it is from Searcy, can you send some next time you are down that way?

In the ice cream category, I think Penn State could take Duke easily. Of course, I don't recall that Duke has a creamery on campus so it really isn't a fair fight.

    Welcome

Hancock 4 Duke - Welcome to the LTE. I hope you enjoy it as much as the rest of us. Randomness and a little PWing are a good thing.

Sorry that I forgot the welcome in the above post.

Does Penn State have a creamery? U of Nebraska has an awesome dairy on their Agriculture campus - some of the best ice cream ever, and pretty decent cheese and milk too.

I believe that Wisconsin has a creamery on campus as well.

I believe a lot of schools with an Ag program have a creamery. I remember Penn State's because a number of years ago PBS did a special on the top ten ice creams in the country and it made it on the list. I have a brother-in-law that is an ice cream enthusiast and my ears always perk up at the mention of ice cream reviews because of him.
