Happy New Year for the men's golfers. The 2021-2022 tour starts this week, as Seacap pointed out in the other thread:
Fortinet Championship, Sept 16-19
Silverado Resort and Spa North, Napa, CA • Purse: $7,000,000
Sounds like Adam Long and Alex Smalley will tee up for the good guys.
Ryder Cup will be next week and attract all the headlines.
The LPGA doesn't start the new season until January. Its tournaments this year run through November. In the Race to the CME Global, Leona Maguire is in 8th place and Celine Boutier is #33.

All three Duke players look safe for the weekend after Smalley shoots 9 under to get to -5. Long also finished at -5 and Streelman is at -6 after nine holes (hope I didn’t jinx Kevin with the cut line projected at -4).
Smalley shot 76 yesterday, but rallied today with a 63.
Coming off of her heroic effort in the Solheim Cup, Leona Maguire shot a -4 (67) in the first round. She is 2 shots behind the leader. Celine Boutier is tied for second at -6.
Streelman cards a -4 (68) again today.

Why are you wasting time here when you could be wasting it by listening to the latest episode of the DBR Podcast?
Boutier collected $262,500.
Couple of weeks ago won the LET event in France.
Solheim single win, LET win, LPGA win. I would say she is in good form.
