It's why Hoosiers, A League of Their Own and The Natural are just amazing sports movies. You simply HAVE to get the sports scenes right. I spend the entire time watching The Sandlot grousing about throwing motions and the holes in their swings. It's unforgivable.
Except the kid who throws to Robert Redford in slo-mo in the very last scene in the movie. It's an awful throwing motion and always bugged me because it's an otherwise brilliant film. They couldn't find a kid who could actually throw a ball?
