Also, in the interest of clarity, "retirement" is a pretty self-congradulatory way of putting my current situation.
I'm trying to figure out what comes next, but not in a rush.
Also, keeping on topic, New Belgium Lim Lager is surprisingly not bad. Not something I would ever purchase in a six-pack, but I find it refreshing and pleasant when it comes up in a mixed 12 pack.
Yea, sorry, it really didn't sound like retirement. Now, mine will be real in a year or two.
New Belgium is a really good company for many reasons ("green," locations, pricing, innovation, etc). I've never visited their AVL location but, after COVID, it'll be on the list. I can't think of a bad beer they've ever brewed (but, I've never had their Atomic Pumpkin and likely never will unless Tripping William buys me one). They have a lot of good/very good core beers and have brewed some fantastic one-offs over the last couple decades or so.

FWIW (not much, probably), NB at minimum used to be a client of the Denver office of my firm. Matter of public record. May still be, but I haven’t checked their TM filings recently.
"Amazing what a minute can do."
