Lol, yes, I really need to work on that. I keep telling myself that, a bit like Staurt Smalley. One of these days I will have a typo free post.

Drizzly with a high in the low 70s. Don’t worry, back to 90s tomorrow. But today, slow cooker pot roast. Pan seared the roast, 9 hours to go...

Can one enjoy using a vacuum cleaner?

FWIW, my screenname here is a typo. So, I set the precedent early.

I'm somewhat liking using the wand portion to suck these fake ladybug type insects which are invading the house by the dozens...suck 'em right off the ceiling...other than that, no.

YamoBeThere - was mostly known as Yamo as a child and then James Ingram came out with the song.

Hopefully my new Roku device gets here soon. Having to watch games on my tablet is not the preferred way to do this.

David Byrne’s American Utopia film by Spike Lee premiered tonight on HBO. Available on demand. If you haven’t seen it, do yourself a favor.

Turn it up, move the furniture from the middle of the room, shake your blues out.

    Trust me on this.

(I should say that I saw the play and not the movie yet — MrsPK is watching it while I watch Alabama-UGA — but the theatre show was amazing.)

OMG I missed it while driving back from the beach. I'll wear my t-shirt and get ready to shake the tail feathers.
Nothing incites bodily violence quicker than a Duke fan turning in your direction and saying 'scoreboard.'

Sorry if this is a repeat, but does anyone eat their PopTarts untoasted?

I did regularly in high school. Who had time for toasters?

Not I, but then I very rarely had PopTarts in high school. College was a different story.

My new vacuum is significantly lighter than what it replaced so from that aspect it is a piece of cake to use. The downside is that on the more used portions of carpet, it doesn't do a very good job of lifting up the pile to at least make the carpet look clean and less worn. Most heavier vacuums I've owned do that part well. This new one does seem like it is doing a better job of picking stuff up. But the dust cup it captures the pet hair and dust in is significantly smaller than the last two vacuums I've owned.

I cannot help you there. Vacuum cleaners tend to make my eyes swell shut because of all the dust they kick up. Would I enjoy using them if I could see what I was doing? Maybe.
