For all Goldwire’s strengths, fastbreak layups are... not a strength. Never seen someone miss so many layups on the break!

Yeah, I was just about to say the same thing. I love his defense and hustle (and his whole story)...but this is now the 2nd game (if not 3rd) where he has simply not been able to make a layup in basic a basic fast break. That is simply not acceptable at this level.

That was tough, coming up empty on the break. We have shot the ball pretty terribly. I think we should try to get to the basket instead of shooting the long-range shots, with the possible exceptions of Hurt and Baker.

Think they were expecting the ball back. This is a completely anecdotal and possibly off-base observation but I can’t remember the last time I saw Duke execute an actual give-and-go on a fast break.

Frustrating. This game was totally winnable after we cut their lead to 1. Then so many poor decisions on the offensive end, jacking up low percentage 3 point shots.
