Furniture set up. Cat alternating between investigating & hiding. TV/internet set up (holy moly AT&T Uverse is awesome). Now just have to plow through 50 boxes or so.

Interesting college football search on my new AT&T U-Verse today. Searched for the Duke game and it came up 4 times - 2 were HD and 2 were non-HD. Wha???

I went to the first HD channel: THIS GAME IS BLACKED OUT IN YOUR AREA.

WTF? I'm in California.

So I went to the second HD channel (because really, who watches non-HD when HD is available, other than my dad... don't ask): SUCCESS!

Gotta love having approximately 200+ sports channels. I'm not joking.

when I was a kid, we had to wear Mae West's while we learned to swim. Not really conducive to swimming though.

I'm sure there are some grainy 8mm converted to VCRs somewhere in my house of those -- need to get it to DVD or to streaming.
