Look closely at the horse's rear. Apparently the horse had a Duke 'D' tattooed there. One smart horse!

Now that is a puzzlement. How does one take this thread off-off topic?

    With extreme caution.

If Mr. Ed was smart, he would talk to Carol instead of Wilber. Just saying.

(Of course, Bamboo Harvester was a gelding. Not that there's anything wrong with that)

Missed the picture, but wondering if it's a Hurley horse?

    My wife: Part 3

I asked my wife if maybe I should get one of those Lyfestlye Lifts to make me look ten years younger. She said "no, you were old and ugly ten years ago, too".

It has turned cold again. I actually like the cold but would prefer that it gradually get cold, stay cold for a while, then gradually warm up. This 60 degrees one day and 20 the next is not much fun. Plus I want snow or rain. We are way behind in rainfall.

Doesn't Mother Nature know it is January? Tomorrow's high is predicted to be 70. The high will be back in the 20s by the end of the week. It's winter. I want consistent temps and some snow.

I want consistency, too. Temperatures in Orange County, NC that are high enough to rival or exceed those in Hades.
