    I'll try to help Turk.

    "I'm walking on sunshine, woo-ooo"

That's a much better song to have stuck in your head.

I'm not so sure about that.

    "...and don't it feel GOOD!?!"

BD, you're my hero... much better... especially since today is one of those "gray soup" weather days here in London, I mean, Philthy...

So whatever happened to Katrina, anyway? Do you remember her from MTV? I've always had a thing for girls who look cute in Chuck Taylors...

Then they had to go and name a hurricane after her... oh well

I used to think maybe you loved me, now baby I'm sure.
And I just can't wait till the day when you knock on my door
Now every time I go to the mailbox, gotta hold myself down
'Cause I just can't wait till you write me you're coming around

Now I'm walking on sunshine, oh oh!
I'm walking on sunshine, oh oh!
I'm walking on sunshine, oh oh!
    And don't it feel GOOD!

Turk, I used to wear Chucks all the time.

Yeah, Katrina and her Waves were a One Hit Wonder. I think 'Walking on Sunshine' was kind of an anomaly in terms of style for them and after that, the music buying public didn't want anything else. Sort of like The Cardigans with 'LoveFool'.

Katrina - Waves, I kept thinking about that connection during the troubles in New Orleans.

Today's song stuck in my head: Roseanne Cash's new version of Sea of Hearbreak with Springsteen on backing vocals...

    The lights in the harbor,
    Don't shine for me.
    I'm like a lost ship,
    Adrift on the sea.

    Sea of heartbreak, lost love and loneliness;
Memories of your caress, so divine.
I wish you were mine again, my dear.
I am on this sea of tears:
    Sea of heartbreak...
    "Quality is not an option!"

If we're going to get to 14,000 by the anniversary (12/20), we better get moving!

Of course, now that I think about it, maybe the goal was 13,500.

    Both are possible.

I'll be stuck in an all-day offsite tomorrow. I'm just hoping laptops will be allowed, and that I'll be able to at least see the GameCast of the game tomorrow (since it starts at 4PM PST.)

Everybody here should be rooting for Carol Hannah in next week's Project Runway finale - her inspiration for her collection? The architecture of Duke University.
