I switched to 'yay' under extreme pressure from my kids. Extreme.

I wear shoes maybe three times a month. Except during lawn mowing season when that number doubles.

Crocs are indispensible for light yard work...you can hose them down when you're done...works really well in case you happen to step in animal droppings...

Any response I might have to this is gonna get caught by the wankerizer. A generation of language butchers these youths are, I tell ya.

I frequently do not wear shoes.
I never mow the lawn. I have literally never cut grass in my life and I intend to die that way.

The question wasn't "socks with crocs for yard work?" though, the question was socks with crocs. When one is doing yardwork, one may dress however one wishes. I would even concede to crocs on the beach. Crocs at the grocery store or the post office or anywhere that can't be defined as yard or beach, just wrong, unless you are elementary school age.

As someone who once was a butcher, I take offense to that generalization.

They are indispensable for plantar fasciitis. And after that, you're addicted!

Crocs are all the rage amongst the young folks down here. As in, teenagers. That's why the prices have skyrocketed. I LOVE my crocs and croc flops.

The situation rapidly spiraled out of control and rendered itself awkward and unwieldy.

Asked and Answered (previously) As I noted earlier today, the only thing worse than socks with Crocs (which is absolutely a horrific look) is socks with sandals, giving a really bad Yerpeen Tourist look.
