I liked ‘Scoob!’, the recent Scooby Doo origin story/Hanna-Barbera cinematic universe launch movie.

Someday, and I do believe that someday will eventually come, the beer drinking will taper off and we will regain our rightful place as the King of France. (Or the LTE.)

I have visions. Call me Joan.

Did it ever end well for a King of France?

I ran a virtual 5k today in Haverhill. Race title? Running from 2020! Loved it, had to participate. However, Haverhill is town number #49* and not number 50. There is a section of Haverhill called Bradford. It used to be a separate town but was annexed in the late 1800s. The people of Bradford still consider themselves to be residents of Bradford, and not Haverhill, residents despite sharing town offices and a police force. I have run in Bradford before. I asked many a participant that day if I could count it as running in Haverhill and was told, many times, no. So, I'd long thought that someday, maybe, as I get near the end of my quest, maybe I'd pick up a race in Haverhill. But now that everything is virtual and I found a lovely park with running trails online, well, Haverhill is checked and Bradford are checked even though the Commonwealth of Massachusetts counts them as the same thing, I have expanded my list to include an extra town. So, 351 official towns, and I've run in 49 + 1. I still have 302 to go.

Upright roasting a chicken with Memphis rub.

I'm also out of Nordic puns. But I do have an adjacent joke:

If you're Russian when you go into the bathroom and you're Finnish when you leave it, what are you in between?

Hmmm, hard to say exactly. The traditional end of the Hundred Years War is usually given as 1453 and the storming of the Bastille was in 1789, so, 336? But Charles VII was considered King of France by some as early as 1421. Joan of Arc was captured (after helping the House of Valois regain a lot of territory) in 1430. So, since I brought up Joan, let's go with 1430 and 359 years.

Oh, no. As penance, I’ll self austriacize.

Yeah, yeah, I know it’s not Nordic.
